Help get this pesky stain out

Before you call me crazy. Let me explain. So I was at this Indian restaurant and I had my phone with me. I now notice yellow stains on the side of my iPhone white. And I'm worried. I tried to wipe it with a napkin and water, but it doesn't come off. I think it's from turmeric powder.

Use 45% hydrogen peroxide. It won't hurt the plastic (or at least shouldn't) and if it doesn't take off the stain, I don't know what will. Use caution, it's a very strong oxidizer. It will turn your skin white if you don't wear neoprene gloves. Use eye protection as well. And a neoprene apron. But it WILL take that stain off. BTW, it's also used as rocket fuel, so if you have any left over and have a rocket…

I'm so sorry but I don't think you will ever get that out. You need to be careful using any kind of chemicals on that because most will melt it. You can try peroxide, that won't hurt it but I doubt if that will do anything. I had something similar that had stains from fresh ground cloves on it. To this day it still has the stains from fresh ground cloves. I have worked in a paint department for many years and have tested those chemicals on many different things. Most will melt that type of plastic so any of those are out of the question. Things like Rubbing Alcohol, Ammonia, Windex, 409, bleach causes that type of plastic to become very foggy looking or will start to melt it. You might try a little baking soda mixed with water to make a paste and allow it to sit on the stain for a little while. But honestly I think your stuck with that memory of the time at the Indian Restaurant.
