Help installing Wondershare/apps on a VERY OLD mac?
I know this is more a question for a forum but I'm really hoping some tech-savy person out there can help me with this.
I have a Mac OS X 10.5.8
It has a PowerPC G4 processor (PPC)
This is usually a huge pain in the *** because no one makes products for PPC macs anymore.
I'm looking for a version of wondershare for itunes (or any other program that can find and restore my backed up Iphone/texts) that is compatable with my computer.
I have tried a few different versions and every time they open up, I'm told to drag the icon into the Applications folder, the icon shows up on my dock (bouncing), and then just disappears.
I'm assuming this has something to do with my comp. But maybe not?
But if anyone has experienced something similar, knows a good software that can help me recover old texts, or how to fix this Please let me know! My boyfriend just proposed to me and some of the messages on that phone are from when we FIRST met so this is important to me.

What version of IOS was on the iPhone and do you still own the iPhone? Reason being the iPhone used at the time the backup you are attempting to restore, assuming the phone has an older IOS than 6.0, should still work with iTunes, assuming the iTunes version, is NOT the latest version.iTunes to use with older devices used in 10.5.8 would be itunes version 9.x.
So if you have the phone, if the phone has an IOS version older than 6.0 and if the iTunes version on the Mac OS 10.5.x is iTunes, 9.x than it may be possible to get the phone to interface with Mac OS.

- Problem with installing ios 7, Help NEEDED I got firmware from piratebay and i tried to install ios 7 on my iphone 4 but Option+restore on itunes. But after all installation, they say activation error and the device has to be activated by developers program something something. I can't do anything on the phone now. Please tell me how to get my phone back either to ios 6 or ios 7.
- My iphone screen is very dark, but if I look very close, I see the apps slightly? My iphone screen is very dark but I still see the buttons slightly, but I have to look very closely in order to. It is definitely not the brightness, because the brightness is set to 100% and its way too dark anyway. I tried restoring my phone and turning it on and off, but nothing is working. Please help. What do I do? I literally threw it out of anger and its fixed.
- My iphone 4s is charging very very slowly? I let my phone charge for about three hourse and it only charged from 3% to 5% and its really really slow; i'm not sure if its the battery or not. Also; i had finally charged it to 10% and i took it off the plug for a second the. It went back to 1%.
