Help my iPhone has water damage?
I just got a life proof case and used it in the hot tub
everything seemed to be going fine but after I noticed it was fogging up
somehow water got in my phone it wasn't soaked but it got under my screen
I put It in rice and checked the water sensors I could see and saw no red
do you think my phone will make it?
So the water moisture got under your screen, and now you're seeing white dots on the screen I assume? Well, iPhones are never meant to be waterproof, and you shouldn't also trust those 'waterproof' cases, so it serves you right I guess. You should have been prepared for such a scenario if you're going to dunk your phone in water on purpose.
If moisture has literally gotten under the LCD display, you might need to switch the LCD panel.
Don't buy iPhones if you want something that's waterproof. Get an S4 Active, Xperia Z or something.
Yes, leave it in the rice for a good while to get all the moisture out and it should be fine.
- My iphone has water damage? - 1 I dropped my iphone 4 in the sink and it was literally in there for two seconds but none of the speakers work. - Iphone water indicators not pink, still possible water damage? Hypothetically, if you got your iphone 4s wet, but the water indicators are not triggered at all, is it still possible the phone has water damage on the inside that apple would find if they took it apart?
- Iphone submerged in water, logic board has water damage? My phone was under water for 10 sec. Atleast and in my wet pocket for about 2 minutes. Led wouldnt turn off and power / lock button didn't work… Put it in rice and two days later i charge it apple logo pops up then writing pops up above the apple logo. Will the guy taking my phone to clean it out and try to fix it need my passcode? And will my contacts, apps, photos, music, internet history still be on my phone? Like when he fixes it turns and on and stuff?
