Hey there, need help I DON't want to go DEAF
I was wondering if listening to music with my headphones on the third volume setting on my phone (iPhone to be specific) will damage my ears. Please help. I never go above three bars and usually have them on for several hours a day (3-4).
You are damaging you ears with any noise that is loud and/or continuous. Your hearing is not made for abuse.
Moderate setting should not affect your hearing, but if it is louder than halfway, then your hearing is at risk.
The numbers on a knob, panel, or display are for reference only.
They Do Not relate directly to the volume that will be produced,
which actually depends on the sensitivity of the headphones.
The thing to do is make sure you don't exceed 85dB at your eardrum.

- Mobile Devices and Relay Service for Deaf People (deaf people are encouraged to reply)? I'm hearing impaired and have an IPhone. If my car breaks down in the middle of nowhere and I need to contact Road Service Help to come, what do you advise me to do? Of course, I will carry my mobile device. Does Relay Service accept text messages?
- I want my husband to show me affection but he don't want to. What do I do? My husband got mad because I zone into my iPhone. However when I try to give him my attention and love on him he wants to push me away and it bothers me. He don't like to talk about it and refuses to listen to me. It really bothers me what can I do. I really can't understand him.
- I want an iPhone 4s but don't want to pay alot monthly? We have a family plan with 4 dumb phones through Verizon. I want to upgrade to an iPhone 4s. I would leave the plan but it seems stupid when they charge you 45 for the phone a month plus the cost of the phone. What will it cost to stay on the family plan just to add the iPhone?
