Hot or not made me an account without my permission?
I downloaded the app but never actually used it about 6 months ago. I didn't realize a whole page with 31 of my pictures, and all of my information/interested had been created. (It was connected to HotOrNot's website, so you could view it on the internet not just in an iPhone app) I got rated about about 2,000, but never once rated someone myself. I found out about it and shut my account down.
THEN 3 months later, what do ya know, they created another account with my info. I never even touched anything HotOrNot related after I deleted. I also know of 2 other people who had accounts made on that site, and they claim they never had contact with the app. Do you know of anyone else this has happened to? How do I handle making sure this doesn't happen again? What's the deal with hotOrNot?

Do You have the Hot or Not App Downloaded on Your Phone? If You Do Uninstall it That Should Take Care of the Problem If Accounts Are Still Being Created If you Don't Have the App Installed Anymore Then Someone May Be Creating Fake Accounts Of You and You Should Report it to The App Owners
- Would it be okay to put logos of other companies in without permission in my art? I'm joining this nationwide art competition in my country with the theme of "consumerism." I'm planning on putting an iPhone on my artwork but instead it will say iDiot. Will designing it in a slightly altered way avoid lawsuits? Do you think the competition will reject my entry if they saw a representation of the iPhone? It will not be the main object in my piece, just a little accessory. Like really small.
- Will my iphone info automatically sync without permission? I'm babysitting and I have my iphone plugged into their computer to charge. I just want to make sure all of my pictures won't upload to their computer. The computer is locked but it's still charging. I also put "don't trust" on the prompt that popped up on my phone about sharing with that computer. I just want to make sure lol.
- What's the difference between a international made iPhone and US made iPhone? I plan on buying or trading my iPhone 4 for a new iPhone 5C on Craigslist or at my local phone shop. Plus, can I flash a unlocked iPhone on to any carrier like PageOne or revol wireless?
- Someone took a picture of me without permission? I was in a toilet cubicle in school and I was pulling down my skirt when I noticed someone's iphone over the top of the cubicle (the back wall). I don't know if they saw anything but I was so embarrassed and feel sick even thinking about it now. What should I do? My mum says to report it but I'm so embarrassed.
