How to find out who is texting me from textplus?

There's this person that is sending me pictures of ugly and fat people from google images saying that I look like them. They keep texting me every day and I can't block their number because I'm on an iphone.

I read somewhere that you can call textplus and have them remove the number or something. If I do this, will I be able to find out who it is?

I'm not sure about textplus. I haven't used it before. But I did have problems with a prankster like that before. I even reported the guy to http://www.callercenter.com. And I guess I can share an advice.

I'm afraid call blocking option is controlled at the provider's level. If your telephone company fails to offer that service, you have two other options:

1) If your iPhone is jailbroken, there's an app called iBlacklist that will allow you to filter incoming calls and SMS text messages. This is not a free app, though. I got mine for $12.00.

2) Or don't try to block the calls. Instead, silence them with a silent ringtone. Although this will still allow the calls to come through, it will not make any sound so you won't even notice. To set this up, download this iPhone silent ringtone, import it into iTunes, and sync it to your iPhone. On your iPhone, add the number you want to block/silence to your contacts and set the silent ringtone as that contact's custom ringtone.

  • Using textplus internationally? I'm studying abroad in Spain and I downloaded the textplus app on my iphone. Can I use it to text my friends/family in the United States who don't have textplus without it charging them international rates?
