How to get a replacement iPhone 4 with my warrenty?
Basically, I left my iPhone 4 in an idock and got it the next morning. When I took it out the idock the play, skip and song name was at the top as if it was playing music but I couldn't hear anything, and there was no volume button. It was as if the iPhone thought it was still in the idock. I booked an appointment at the genius bar in the apple shop and explained the situation, but they noticed the water indicator had gone red on my phone suggesting that water had gotten into the phone and they said this could have effected the iPhone but unfortunetly this isn't covered under warrenty. However I don't believe that the problem is caused by the water indicator going off as it can take the tiniest amount of water for it to indicate water damage. As I'm unable to play music out loud in my iPhone now it can be annoying. Is there any other ways I could get a replacement through my warranty using another excuse?
Say you dropped it to anouther apple store
- Will my warrenty cover it? I resently got my iphone 5 lcd fix at a local phone fix store but 3 days after that i dropped my phone and the screen and lcd broke again, putting it back to the same state before it was fixed. However i was given a 30 day warrenty with my purchase (its been a week since). Will my warrenty still cover my phone even if its my fault i dropped it and broke it again?
- Will apple replace my defective 5C free of charge under warrenty? I have a iPhone 5C randomly restarts and I would like to know if apple would send me a free replacement or I would get a replacement for free at the apple store with the warrenty have had this iPhone since 5/20/14 telephone warrenty or something expires 8/18/14 and warrenty 5/19/15
- Replacement Pending iPhone. Replacement phone or fix? My iphone is being repaired and on the apple service page it says 'iPhone replacement pending' and below it says repair complete… I was wondering if this meant that my phone has been repaired or if Apple are sending a replacement iphone different than the original.
- Lost Iphone 5 will it be replaced with an iphone 5s under warrenty? Just like the question states… Will my iphone5 be replaced through verizons iphone warranty with the newer iphone 5s? I know you can't purchase the iphone 5 anymore… I lost my iphone 5 on a mexican cruise. I've already got the alpha-davit for my phone replacement… I know it's covered under lost/stolen replacement insurance. I pay for the insurance every month.
