How come my connection turns off and on?
Around night, say 8:00 my internet connection randomly turns off. I'm really close to my router so I'm really confused and frustrated. But I use the same router and the connection on my iPhone works. It is really annoying. I look at it and it says the signal is excellent so i click connect and it still doesn't work. It might turn back on but rarely. I've searched up my problem on Google but they don't make any sense. I also use a laptop. So can somebody please help me, it would be a lot of help.
DHCP lease time (the timeout on the IP your router assigns you) is probably 24 hrs. Log in to your router, and either tell it to auto-reconnect (if such option exists) or just crank lease time to max.
To login to your router (assuming Windows) open command prompt, type "ipconfig". Look for the entry "Default Gateway" and put that IP into your browser. Factory login can be found online with your router make & model.
- My iPhone turns itself on and off randomly? My iPhone 3GS has just started turning its self off and on like 20minutes ago and it's got 57% of battery left, I don't know what's wrong? And I don't wanna go to the apple shop because I don't want my mum to have to pay for a new one because we have a tight budget. And if I tell her she will go mad!
- My iPhone keeps turning on and off like it turns on and off. Can someone tell me? Okay tbms it turns on and off on and off and then sometimes it shows a red screen for a few seconds then off again and dies out. It's not the battery because I got that changed thinking that it was the cause and it wasn't. So is there anything someone can help me with? The repair guy tried restoring it through iTunes he said it didn't work either it just won't come on it doesn't go pass the Apple logo before shutting off and on again and dying out
- IPhone turns on and off on charge? My battery died last night and now when I put it on charge it turns on, the apple logo comes up, then the passcode entry comes up and right then it starts to shut off again. It's constantly doing this. Something else I also noticed is that once the apple logo comes and if I plug the charger plug out the phone will continue to start and follow the same process except it won't turn back off. I've also tested with multiple chargers.
- IPhone turns off as soon as i take it off the charger? I have an iPhone 4 with iOs 6 and today it just turned off randomly and wouuld not turn back on. So i put it on the charger, and it turned on. But as soon as i took it off, it died again. It as at 65 percent and is not going up or don. I can't upgrade to iOs 7 because i don't have enough storage and i don't want to restart my phone. What do i do?!
