How could people survive without all this technology?
Omg if I didn't have my iPhone I would literally die! Sucks for people that had to live in the 90s.
I was a teen in the 90's and I lived just fine. In fact I probably enjoyed myself much more than most teens today. I had a real social life and actually still had a good imagination and found things to do instead of sitting in front of a computer all day and being glued to a small screen.
We had paintball guns to shoot eachother in the face to pass the time
Yes.
Well people back when actually went out.
By going outside.
We couldn't and it's kinda upsetting
People would survive just fine. When I was young we survived without cell phones of any kind - just a house phone that was plugged in to the wall if you were lucky. And often no TV. No computers. No iPods or iPads or iPhone or xBox or Nintendo or anything else like that. What did we do you ask? We talked to each other - in real life. We played board games. We read books. We helped out at home.
The 90s - early 2000s were the best! Kids actually went outside to play with other kids in the neighborhood, neighbors talked to one another. Now everyone's either looking down or too scared to start a conversation because they're so used to "talking" through screens. It's quite sad.
Got along fine. Role playing, like here, was virtually nonexistent. Time spent on relationships, were genuinely consuming and required effort, not fantasy.
- Will iOS 7 be upgraded on all apple technology? I want to know if iOS 7 will be upgraded onto the iPhone 3, 3s, 4, 4s etc. Also will it be on apple computers, and macs?
- Why do so many people go crazy for new gadgets and technology? Queue up for days just to be the first to get a new iPhone… Upgrading things when the old one works just fine… Why do people want the newest "in" thing so much? What's wrong with buying a phone and keeping it for 5 years until it breaks down and THEN replacing it?
- Why do people want to get the latest technology? I still have an iPhone 4S, it's working fine except the home button is messed up but I can live with it. Because the phone can still be used to call and do what phones do. Why do people feel the need to buy the latest Phone when they don't need it?
- Why are elderly people so confused with technology most of the time? My grandma has had an iPhone for years and still doesn't know how to use it… She always asks me to help her with things that are so simple. Same with my granddad and my older aunts and uncles. They seem like they don't know how to use the simplest user friendly technology and when me or someone else who is young fixes it so easily they think were magicians. I know they didn't grow up with technology but really, is it that hard to figure out? (Not trying to offend anyone btw)
