How did I go over my cellular data?
I have an iPhone 4. This morning I got a text message telling me I used up 90% of my data so I went over to settings and turned off cellular data as you can see in the picture. Yet, I still got a text message 4 hours later telling me I just went over the data by 12 mb. HOW IS THAT POSSIBLE? I had already made sure I turned off cellular data hours before that. I don't get it. I have AT&T btw
You could check to see what apps used data under Usage. Also in future could look into getting data monitoring apps.
- Will US cellular get the iPhone when sprint takes over? I heard sprint is taking over but I don't really know what that means. Could someone please explain and tell me if they'll get iPhone because I know sprint has the iPhone.
- Why does my iphone use data over night when cellular data is turned off? Every night I turn off cellular data and leave the iPhone on and one day I wake up and check my data manager and see i have already used 25 MB please help!
- Why did I go over my data usage on my iPhone? I can't go over 2GB. Last month I was at 1.260, I checked minutes before the reset/next month (12AM). It's been 2 days since reset and IIm at 0.383. I don't get how this all works but apparently I went over.
- Why did i go over my data even though i had it off I have an iPhone 5 with a 300mb data plan on AT&T, and i noticed i was almost going to go over it (i had 297 of 300mb) so i turned off my cellular usage off in the settings and just used my home Wi-Fi. But today i woke up and i got a message from AT&T saying that i had gone over my limit by 7mb! WHY? I had it off and never turned it on… Also, What happens if i go over my data?
