How do I get rid of old Apple ID data?

When I was younger I used my mums Apple ID on my iPhone. I bought music etc. Now I'm older I have my own Apple ID but every time I set up a new phone I'm asked for my mums Apple ID password because some of the data on the phone comes from that… I can't do that for the rest of my life! How do I prevent this connection between our accounts? Would I have to delete the data?

If only Apple had a website, you could find out for yourself.

  • How to get rid of the Apple update from my iPhone 3GS? I hate the update - it has made my phone unbearable. I recently got the 4GS and still have the 3 basically as an iPod - it still works for a few games when I'm connected to Wi-Fi.
  • How to get rid of previous Apple ID on iPhone 4s? I recently purchased an iPhone 4S off a friend of a friend. When I got it, it still had my friends friend logged on with his Apple ID. I can't download any app without typing in his password which I don't know. IS there an easy way of resetting the iPhone completely and starting fresh?
  • How to get rid of 'other' data on iPhone 4? I have an originally 8gig iPhone 4 with 6.1.3 software. I checked my data, and it says I've got 4.17 gigabytes worth of 'other'. I've googled it, and all of the answers are to delete all of my music. I'd reset the phone a few days ago, so I don't have any. I've had this problem twice, causing me to restore it both times. Is there anyway to get rid of the 'other'?
  • How to get rid of other data on iPhone? - 2 Today I tried and failed to download a movie because I didn't have enough space. I delete some stuff, downloaded it again, then deleted it to free up space, but now my iTunes says it has 5.67gb of "other." I tried restoring backup, but since I'd backed it up since I got all of that data it didn't help. How do I get rid of the "other" data?
