How to learn ios development?
I'm a 16 year old high school student and am very interested in learning how to design apps for the iphone. There are currently no programming classes available to me and i have little to no programming experience. I already have a mac and xcode and i'm basically asking where i should begin should i buy a book learn online i just don't know. Can someone lead me to a solution. 10 pts to best answer!
Buy a book, and lookup YouTube tutorials on xCode. It's not too hard, thats how i learned. I watched YouTube videos on xcode language.
I highly recommend thenewboston on YouTube. He has excellent Objective-C, iPhone Development, and Cocos2d tutorials ( cocos2d is used to create iPhone games ). Here is the URL to his Objective-C tutorials:

- Where can I buy app development software? I want to develop a cross platform app for iphone, ipad and android. I can see there are free packages that I can use to either develop individual apps for each platform or there are some packages that offer a cross platform development option. Could someone help me with a link to where I can look at software you can buy to do this? I need a site that provides genuine reviews of these software packages before I can choose. I'm in the UK.
- Should a Graphic Designer learn iOS programming? I'm going to college for Graphic Design and found a intro to iOS programming class. The class shows the basics of designing applications for the iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch. The course will also have the basic introduction to HTML, CSS, Javascript and Objective C language. And in the end the student will earn a CiTE certificate. I've never done anything like this before, which is why I'm not sure if it is relevant or useful for a future Graphic Desiger like me to learn.
- Mobile web site development - images and device orientation? I have developed a mobile site with a 320px wide image on the page. When viewed on the iPhone in portrait orientation, all is. But when you view in landscape mode, it obviously doesn't fit the page. How to fix so that the image will fit all devices, regardless of orientation?

I want to make games and apps for iphone and ipod touch so bad but not sure if the specs of the 11" 2012 mba are good enough seeing that the processor is at 1.7 ghz. I plan on upgrading the ram when i buy it to 8gb. Will this mac be good enough to develop games and app for iphone and ipod touch smoothly?
