How do I prevent my iphone from becoming unresponsive?
I have an iPhone5s and every week or two it goes black showing nothing on the screen. Whatever buttons I press it doesn't turn back on nor show anything on the screen. If someone calls me my phone doesn't respond still. So far each time this happens it lasts for 3-8 hours then at a random time starts working. Is there a way to prevent this from occurring again?

Maybe 2017 is advanced ahead to be using a 5s
but I do understand the financial factor. What you can do is, remove unnecessary stuff from your phone, give it some space to breath. I have a habit of using google photos to backup those heavy image files, then delete from the phone

In the meantime I would try a reset of the iPhone.
