How to stop my iPhone from wiping data?

This is a really odd situation. I have a personal iPhone on which I receive work email via Outlook. This is pretty standard within my company.

Today, for no rhyme or reason I received an email telling me the "remote device wipe had been completed successfully". I was not sure what this meant until I looked at my iPhone and realized it had been deactivated.

In speaking with Verizon it appears that this is something that can be done when you are hooked into a work network with your phone.

Anyway, this is clearly an error and now every time I try to hook up to iTunes and restore the data on my phone the server at my works seems to keep wiping the data and I'm unsure how to stop this. The only message I receive is that I need to remove the mobile device from the Outlook Web App, which I have no clue how to do. Any suggestions?

Alright, this is a simple solution.
The problem is that somebody entered certain info into your device which will enable someone to track, lock, and wipe your iPhone. You just need to clear this info and your good to go.

If you are running iOS 5.0 or above; Go to settings, iCloud, screen down until you see "Find My iPhone". Turn that off.

if you are running 4.3.3 or below (until 4.0); Go to settings, to "Mail, Contacts, Calendars", then navigate to "MobileMe." Turn "Find My iPhone " off.
