How do unlock a iphone 5, is it possible?
So basically i got a iphone 5 for contract, i did credit check, passed i thought and then they sent me the phone yesterday. But then i was getting no service so i decided to call the contracters. They told me that i failed credit check and they want the phone back. I don't want to, because i have been waiting for it for so long, and quite frankly its their fault. Can i get it unlocked somewhere? What does unlocking imply? How do i get a service on the phone? Can i still use that sim card?

Unlocking the device means you'll be able to use it with any GSM carrier (use any sim card you choose). And yes, unlocking the iphone 5 is possible. Not only that, you can do it easily and without jailbreaking (and voiding your warranty).

If your SIM isn't activated then you won't get service on it whatsoever. There's no way to unlock your iPhone 5 without your carrier doing it for you, and since your carrier wants the phone BACK, that won't happen.
That said you should probably give it back because they could sue you for it.

Yes you can, i bought an iPhone 5 last week, i was looking for a way to unlock it that i found some websites doing that, prices were so high but i finally found an unlock company doing that for just $25, i ordered the service and they unlocked my iPhone in about 20 hours with my iPhone imei number, no jailbreak, no softwares. It seems they are official apple unlockers doing unlocks through apple.
