How do you switch and iphone from tmobile to at&t free of charges?
My friend broke my phone, so he gave me his iphone 7 plus, but it is on tmobile, is it possible to change carriers from tmobile to at&t free of charges?
Yes. You need to get T-Mobile to unlock the phone. Though you will need your friend's account PIN to initiate the unlock request. If your friend doesn't want to give you his account PIN (you can do a lot of nefarious things with it, so I wouldn't blame him) he will need to initiate the unlock request himself.
Once the phone is unlocked, you can put in your AT&T SIM and it should accept it and work with no problems.
Here is the official T-Mobile Unlock information page
No. First you have to unlock it from TMobile. Unless the phone qualifies for free unlocking it'll cost you. To qualify you usually have to be a paying customer for a certain amount of time. All this varies from one provider to the next. Once it's unlocked ATT will charge you an activation fee.
- What happens after you steal 3 iphones at one time and the owners pressed charges? 3 Iphones were stolen and the owner pressed charges, but the iphones were returned, but after the owners pressed charges. What could be the possible charges for a 16 year old?
- Is the tmobile iPhone 5 already unlock? And will the tmobile 5 work on AT&T? I have recently been looking at buying an iPhone 5 and I found someone, but they have tmobile an I have AT&T. Will it work on AT&T? Also, how much would the newer SIM card be?
- Is hacking someone's personal email and iphone illegal and what are the charges they could get? A few years ago I was battling major depression and was acting rather erratically. I found out that my company was investigating me because they were under the impression I was doing something illegal. Which I wasn't. Just wondering if its legal for a company to do such a thing and what could the reprocussions be? Fyi I'm still with the company 3 years later, but still don't really trust them if what they did was in fact illegal. I'm also no longer depressed
- If you delete a call log from iphone, can you still find the record of calls and facetimes from your service provider (tmobile)? Facetime is something for only apple devices, but would your service provider still have your facetime calls in their logs? And what about regular phone calls? If so, is there a way to request they are deleted?
