How to turn off the displayed message on an iPhone 4S?

Ok so you know how when you get a message on your iPhone when it's locked, and you press the home button you see the person who sent you the message and the content of the message? Well I don't want the content of my message to show, I just want it to show New Message like alot of people have. How do you change this? I can't figure it out.

You may not want to see the little preview of text messages that turn up on your home screen when a new text (SMS) message comes in. To turn this off, head to your iPhone settings and go to:

  • Why is my iPhone number being displayed wrongly on my number? My number is X, but on "my number" settings, it's being displayed number Y. Why is that? Also, some people told me that when I call or text them, the number Y is appearing to them, not the number X as it should. On the other hand, if I call the number X, my iPhone rings normally, but the same thing doesn't happen when I call number Y.
  • When find my iphone is disabled, what is displayed on other iPhones? My parents use the find my iphone app to track my phone, if I turn it off what do they see? Does it say it's turned off or does it just say it's at it's last location? I've heard both but I'm curious.
  • Is tbere any major différence between thé iPhone 6 and the 6s? Whooppeee is Xmas again and my daughter wants new 2nd hand) iPhone… 2 years ago almost bought her 5 before i réaliséd that it was 5s she wanted ( cos thé 5 sucks?) And I don't want to screw up this year…
  • Iphone 5c incoming calls just say UNKNOWN CALLER no phone number displayed? I'm hoping someone might have a suggestion. I recently switched to an iphone and when I receive incoming calls no number comes up it simple says Unknown name. I've never had this happen with a phone before. I contacted the carrier who have no answer why this is happening and are going to look into it. In the meantime I don't know who is calling my phone. I can't figure it out if anyone has a answer or knows what might be going on I'd love some feedback.
