How does the Gov't KNOW you are watching TV on your computer or Iphone?

Com. 18 just answered a question of mine, saying one is taxed even if tv shows are watched on the computer or Iphone. How does anyone KNOW you are receiving TV Broadcasts over these appliances. It's not like they can ride around in a truck tracking who has an untaxed Ipad.

I'm confused.

Your dady said it to you cause you are under +18. Beware if you are connected to the Internet or phone or satellite.

I'm in Canada, where a signal is detected if you are watching television on a computer, or computer device. Pretty sad isn't it.

They were incorrect. The TV Tax in Britain is only for TVs. Not internet streaming video.

The trucks you speak of simply detects if there's a TV present, and then checks against a map of subscribers.

Yes I suppose it does sound like something out of 1984 or even Brazil.

I don't know how, but I have had letters regards my TV license.@ poo bear can asure you if you watch BBC on a computer or smart phone you have to have a license… No ifs or buts
