How fast is the a5 dual core processor in an Iphone 4s?
Android phones use ghz ie 800hz or 1.2 ghz where the Iphone use A3, A4, A5 or now A6 dual core. How do you cross reference them.
They have very low quality compared to the android smartphones of it's class. Mid range android phones comes with 1.2-1.6 ghz single or dual core chips manufactured by giants like ARM and Qualcomm and even Intel. And high end chips… What to tell.
A6 chip has twice the power of A5 chip. Actually the A6 chip is quite to par with chipset used in sgs3 as per benchmark but sgs3 gets better result when jellybean is used. And android phones are power hungry so are the android users.
The A5 in the iPhone 4S is apparently a dual-core at 800Mhz. It's difficult to compare the iPhone CPUs to Android since iOS is written specifically for these CPUs and so they get much better efficiency out of them than a lot of Android phones.
At the end of the day it doesn't really matter what the numbers are, it matters how the phone performs and both top-end Android handsets and the iPhone 4S are fast, smooth and very capable.
- Why are Apple still using dual-core CPUs and 1GB of RAM? Other top of the rnage phones like the S4 are rocking a 1080p 5"+ display, 2GB of RAM and a quad-core CPU and yet the iPhone 5 and 5s do not even have a 720p display and are still are dual-core and 1GB of RAM.
- Which is faster? A6 processor from apple, or 1.4 quad core Exynos? I want to know which one is faster, the appale iphone 5's processor (A6 ARM from apple) or the galaxy S' (1.4 quad core Exynos)?
- Is the iPhone 5's A6 Chipset a Quad Core? I don't get it. Some bloggers are saying it is while other bloggers are saying it's a dual core. But then again, why would Apple release a dual core phone?
- Is tbere any major différence between thé iPhone 6 and the 6s? Whooppeee is Xmas again and my daughter wants new 2nd hand) iPhone… 2 years ago almost bought her 5 before i réaliséd that it was 5s she wanted ( cos thé 5 sucks?) And I don't want to screw up this year…
