How is it possible that my son is accessing the internet on his iPhone 4?
I'm not super tech savy, but know how to turn off Safari. I have Restrictions on with a passcode I'm certain he doesn't know. But I see him on the internet everyday. He's told me a few clues of how he outsmarts me:
-Google is hidden in a folder
-He sets the date back to an earlier time when the phone had no restrictions
-He downloaded the Google ap while signed in as the previous owner (his aunt)
I'm clueless and TRULY appreciate any advice (or even guesses) to help me.
He is resetting the phone to a previous saved setting. Not sure if it can be done on the phone by it's self. But i'm pretty sure he needs a computer to do the reset. All he needs to do is plug it to a computer and restore the setting on the phone to what he wants. And he can pretty much by pass your password. Only way to keep it from happening is to delete the saved setting he has saved some where. More then likely it is saved on a computer.
Log into your wireless router. Change the password. If he doesn't like it, then you can remind him who keeps him fed, clothed & sheltered. He's the child, you're the parent. Act like it.
- My son broke his AT&T iPhone? My son is 12 and he dropped his AT&T iPhone 5 while he was playing basketball with friends today, and now the screen's cracked. The phone is over a year old so what's the cheapest way to get it repaired or replaced, with out DIY?
- My 16 year old son won't give us his iPhone password, what can we do about it? I want to know what he texts to his friends, sort of spy on his thoughts kind of thing. The thing is he bought the phone with money from his job and he pays the bill, it's prepaid. He refuses to hand over his phone or the password. He says if we try to take it away he will defend his property using force. What can I do? I really need to know what's in that phone!
- Is there any way I can use my deceased father's iphone X even though I don't know his password or his e-mail password? My dad passed away recently. He had a fairly new iPhone X. I'd like to use it as my own phone but I don't know the passcode. I watched a video on how to restore the phone but I still can't use it because the phone is connected to an itunes account… And since i don't know his e-mail password, i can't reset it. I went to AT&T (where we were on a family plan) but they said they can't help me. Is his nearly new phone destined to be a paper weight?
