How much freedom should Tweens get?

Should they be able to go to the park, cinema, the mall and mcdonalds without adult supervision because my sister is saying that she wants to. She has decent friends that are also around her age. She has an iPhone.

I'm 12 and I'm aloud to do all this and my mums super protective

Going to the mall isn't a big deal but don't stay out before dark the world is getting crazier you need to be careful you seen how many kids get kidnapped its horrible in do believe kids should get certain freedoms but this isn't a teen show non Disney things can happen just be safe and careful

Your sister should probably be safe if she's with a group of three or more people if they stay together at All TIMES! The mall is okay because there are many people there, even at night. The cinema is also okay if she is with her friends. McDonalds I would say maybe you could go to with her and her friends because it has some really freaky people sometimes. I would say make sure you know where she is at all times, but don't bother her too much with it. Just know where she is going and when she will be back.

I was allowed to navigate the city, hang out with friends, go home myself, all by myself by the time I was 12, it depends on where you're going and what city you live in, if your city has a lot of crime and kidnappings it's better to go in a group.

Honestly I don't think staying out after 11pm is a good idea especially if you're young or alone, even if your city/town is safe, there could be prowling crooks out there.
