How much time is 4GB of data on the iphone?

How long will 4GB of data last? I'll use it for mostly things like youtube, maybe movies, fb, twitter, instagram, snapchat, etc. How long with that 4GB of data last (per month?)

4GB a month is quite a lot for one month. Youtube uses a considerable amount of data per video, but the others site you mentioned don't use very much. With the occasional youtube video in addition using those other site, you should still have quiet a lot left.

Youtube videos on average are around 30mb.
Spending an hour on facebook viewing pictures and text may use about 10-25mb.
It all depends on how often you use your data and what websites you visit.

Should be fine for everything but movies and YouTube. Depending on resolution and length of the movies you watch, but a conservative estimate for an average standard def movie would 1GB.

Basically, don't watch movies on you phone's data, use a Wi-Fi connection.

  • Would 4gb of data be enough for me? I plan on getting the iPhone 5s sometime within the next 2 weeks or so. With AT&T if it makes a difference. I currently have sprint with unlimited text and data. Since AT&T doesn't do that anymore with data i have to settle for something else. My sprint 3G data is listed at 1, 360, 072 and my sprit 3G data roaming is at 3, 211 both are in KB and I have about another 25 days in my billing period. Would 4gb of data be good for me so I don't go over?
  • Will I have 4gb after my plan renews? I'm currently on the go phone 60 dollar monthly plan with unlimited text, call, and 2gb of data. I have an iPhone 5c and i ended up using all of my data before it renews. So I added two more gb. I was wondering if they will let me keep the 4gb. I don't think two gb is enough. Ps: I don't have internet at home so I use my data a lot. But I think imma conserve it this time

  • My 8GB iphone 4 only has 6, 4GB space? Why does my Iphone only have 6, 4 GB? Does it have to do because I have Jailbroken it? BTW, I calculated the Usage and its only 900 MB and it says I've used 3GB
