How so I keep my text messages to only sending to my iPhone?
My friends are texting me but I can't tell because the messages are already being opened because they are being sent to my dad! I did a software update but that Shouldn't make a difference. I set it as to only be sent to my phone and I went to settings and under messages and it's still set to only my number
Check your call forwarding settings and text message settings and make sure they're set to your number only.

You need to change the apple id on your personal iPhone. Stop using your dad's apple i.d. On that phone.
- Why is my iPhone5 sending some messages as iMessage and others as Text Messages? I understand that messages are sent as Text Messages when there's no signal or poor Wi-Fi connection. However, I'm successfully texting some people using iMessage but others (still iPhone users) as Text messages. The other person will send iMessages and then my responses will be sent as green Text Messages.
- When I receive text messages with emojis from an iPhone, why do the messages only appear partially? My phone is a "Verizon Samsung Intensity II" slide phone. (Also it's blue but that doesn't matter.) Also, if I'm included in an iPhone group chat (spoiled rich friends, but not snobby…), I get each posted message as a separate message, so I'll end up randomly with 67 unread messages clogging up my inbox.
- What can I do if my iPhone is hacked and keeps sending international text messages? My iPhone has been sending out international texts. Is it hacked? Also I jailbroke my phone. I'm using Tmobile( doesn't support iPhone) So does anyone know how to fix it?
- Traveling internationally, iPhone is sending iMessages but not text messages? I'm from America but I'm living in the UK for a while. My iPhone will send iMessages with or without Wi-Fi, but will never send regular texts to android phones. This was happening when I had my American SIM card as well as my new UK SIM card. Any suggestions?
