How Sync iPhone music to MacBook Air?

I have had both the phone and mac for a few months now, and I've just bought a few songs on the iPhone through iTunes and now I want the songs on the MacBook. They haven't shown up in my computer with the little cloud with the arrow ( like on the iPhones when you download a song on another device). Do I have to sync my iPhone with my laptop or is there a different way?

So, if you bought your music though itunes, your music can be downloaded from any device, therefore, just look it up in the itunes store and re-download, free of charge. If you want to sync, plug your phone into computer, open itunes and press back up, this should sync your music.

  • Should I get a MacBook Air or an iPhone 5S/5C? I got enough money to buy an iPhone for my birthday, but my mothers says that if I save my money until Christmas, I can get a MacBook Air. My phone is an old samsung galaxy ace, and it has all sorts of problems. It has very limited space and a very short battery life, and is super slow. My family's PC is slow, and is running out of space. I need that space for documents, and to be able to synch my iPad with iTunes. This is a really tough decision, please help!
  • Should I buy the iPhone 5 or Macbook Air? So I'm saving to get one of them but I'm not sure which one! I already have a phone but it's the Nokia C3-00 so it's quite old and I've had it for about 2 1/2 years now. I don't have my own laptop but I share one with my mum and I can use it after school only and I can't take it to school because she uses it for work.   • I need to transfer my iphone to my new macbook air? I have my iphone completely backed up on my old PC, and now I'm moving it all onto my new mac. I've tried a *** ton of programs that are only free trials and only let you transfer like 50 files. I can't simply transfer purchases on itunes either because most of my music was not from itunes… I just need a way to move all my songs, easily. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
