How to activate a iPhone iCloud locked phone?
I'm looking for a new phone and I see cheap ones on eBay but they are iCloud locked which I have no idea what it means but the prices are too good to beat how could I activate it if I were to buy one of the phones?
You'd have to contact the seller and see if they can access the iCloud account that is linked to the iPhone via the icloud website and then disable/remove the 'lostmyiphone' feature thats locking it… Either that or take it into a phone shop and have them unlock it for £5 or something around that.
It means they are stolen. If they are cloud locked it means you need the password to the Apple ID that is on that phone and since the person stole it does not know it they are trying to sell it for a quick buck since it is impossible to get into.

- Found iphone 5s is icloud locked and owner phone number is out of service? So I found this iphone 5s while walking home from school. So when I turned it on it says this phone has been lost to please contact the owner and this number. So when I called the number it showed out of service. So there's no way to get in contact with the owner. If I take the phone to a apple store, can they unlock it for me so I could use it?
- Use current phone SIM card to activate old iCloud locked phone? I found my old iPhone 6 and I have a new iPhone 6. I don't know where the Sim card is for my old one. After I activate it will I be able to take out the Sim card and put it back the my current phone and have two WORKING phones (one with out and with SIM card) without it deactivating or messing up my current phone?
