How to activate iPhone's built-in Nike+ sensor?

For some reason every time I try activating the sensor, it keeps saying "walk to activate sensor" even though I walk for a long time. How do I fix this?

I have a 5C, by the way.

It doesn't have a "built-in Nike+ sensor."

The sensor is a separate thing you put in your Nike+ shoes. Or you can put it in a pouch attached to your shoe laces. Then when you walk, the phone picks up the sensor in your SHOE.

  • Why won't my Nike + shoes calibrate to my iPhone 4s? Do I need a receiver or something? It told me to walk around to activate the sensor but i walked around for a good 15 minutes and it didn't calibrate… Am i doing something wrong or is there another gadget i need?
  • Nike+ Running App on the iPhone 4 (problem)? I have a Nike account and I signed in all right. I got to the screen that says "Run Setup" and I set it up as a Basic run with no music and no 'cheers'. But when I tap Begin Run nothing happens. The screen just stays as it was before and no matter how many times I press the button nothing will happen. For any clarification, I'm using an iPhone 4.
  • Nike+ carrying iPhone with you? I just bought the Nike Free Run running trainers and bought the Nike+ sensor with them. I've got the Nike + iPod app, but do I have to run with my iPhone for my progress and stats to be counted or can I just connect my sensor, start the time on the workout on my iPhone and then leave my iPhone at home?
  • Nike and iPhone shoes/sensor? I heard about getting a certain pair of Nike shoes and you can sync them with your iPhone or something. Well I want to look into this, I have an iPhone 4S if that matters. But ABOUT how much do these shoes cost? Does the sensor thing come with it or bought separately? If so, how much is the sensor? Where can I buy these shoes and/or sensor?
