How to avoid paying for data on the iphone?
I'm getting an iphone this week and really don't want to have to pay for data. Does the enable 3g button under settings work? (It's a 3g) so is there anyway to just not pay for it?
I think you have to get a data plan because most smartphone plans require you to get data. I doubt the 3g button will prevent you from paying because what I said the first sentence, you'll have a data plan and you still have to pay for it whether you use it or not
There really isn't a way in avoiding the payment of the dataplan for a smartphone. Doing that would kinda defeat the purpose of having a smartphone. If you decided to switch sim cards, it wouldn't be a smartphone anymore, so technically, there isn't any way to avoid AT&T's $15 dataplan charge. But, I guess if you just wanted the phone for show, it would pretty much do the job. See ya in India pooj.

- I was paying for n iPhone 6 plus monthly but my data got cut off, I had insurance on it, now its destroyed n I owe all this money I since it is cut off and I owe money for the entire phone but had insurance on it, after I pay the total balance could I get a replacement for 100.00 as if I still had service?
