How to change a collaboration CD to a single artist?
I didn't know how to phrase the question but basically I bought a CD that was one artist and even with the same artist name and everything my iPhone recognizes it as a collaboration CD and won't show under the artist name so I need some help to change it from a collaboration to a regular CD.
For each song
Put the guest artist in Artist.
Put "Various Artists" into the Album Artist field.
Check or uncheck the "Part of a compilation" box.
- Why is my music not showing up in the artist section of my iPhone? I just started adding music to my Iphone 5 and quite a bit of the music will not show up in the Artist section. After searching for it I can usually find what I was looking for in either the Album or Song section, but I find it kind of annoying to have to search so hard just for music. Any idea what's causing this?
- What's your favorite song/artist/album? I'm adding music to my iPhone and I'm looking for some ideas. I like nearly all music so I'm open to all suggestions. Plus I'm interested to know what types of music other people enjoy.
- What is the name and artist of this song? I know it's labeled as Snake Charmer by Blink-182, but that's definitely not right. I tried the shazam app on iphone and nothing came up. Does anyone know?
- Songs won't show up under the artist on my iPhone? I added the album to my phone and it says its on there on itunes with the rest of that artists albums. However if I look at the music on my phone the album isn't under that artist. I went to check under songs and albums and I can find it there. The info on the album says the artists name so it's not the info thats wrong… How do I get it to show up under the artist?
