How to change my number iPhone 3G?

Prank called me and his number was different I don't know how. If you know how to change your number and also turn it back please tell me Thank you So MUCH MEANS ALOT also my iPhone is a 3G and its iOS 6 lol Tmi

Is his phone jailbroken? Is so, yes there's a app that allows you to call from another number.

  • Why is my iPhone number being displayed wrongly on my number? My number is X, but on "my number" settings, it's being displayed number Y. Why is that? Also, some people told me that when I call or text them, the number Y is appearing to them, not the number X as it should. On the other hand, if I call the number X, my iPhone rings normally, but the same thing doesn't happen when I call number Y.
  • Why is mobile sending number different to my number? I recently bought an Iphone and did a sim swap so I could keep my phone number. Everything has been ok. However, when I send an imessage it shows the recipient a different number to mine. I don't think this happens when I send a SMS. Presumably it's the original number for the new sim? Why is this?
