How to charge my Iphone 4s while having a broken charging port?

I don't have the money to replace it and i thought of everything i could. Including the charging mats or pads, the reason those won't work is because iphones are not compatible with the QI that they use unless you put a special case on it, a special case that plugs into your phones charging port. Of course.

If you do not have money to replace the phone, you should have money to repair the phone.

Google or use the yellow pages, to find all the local (TO YOU), cell phone and small electronic repair shops within driving distance to your bedroom. Now use a phone (any phone will do), and call a few to see what their avg rate is for fixing the charging port on your version of iPhone. Then decide which shop you will take your phone to, and have them repair it.

If you mean what can YOU do to fix it? Nothing.

Go ask this on an iphone forum, they will know.

Find a local phone repair shop to replace the charging port.

Either scavenge 22$ and send it to this guy: http://www.ebay.com/...1123710954 (dock connector included) and of course package it and send it to him (small but applicable cost)

If not then buy the part yourself: http://www.ebay.com/...1037313471 and watch how-to videos. I've already fixed a screen for someone like this but thankfully that didn't require the taking out of too many delicate parts.

NOTE: Ah, it says "4th generation Ipod touch" on the first link… But maybe he does iphones too or possibly someone else does. Sorry about that.

I've had my iphone for less then a a year I've had it 6 months and the chargin port is broken the cable still works fine I've tried more then one cable and it is the port will it cover it I didn't break it it's just happened and at first I thought it was the cable then it just kept getting worse
  • Why port forwarding on port 80? I have a foscam home security camera and it needs port forwarding on port 80 if I want to use my iphone to view it from outside. Surely enough, it works as soon as I open that port. But isn't port 80 open by default? Else how could I view http websites in the first place. I don't get it. It's already open so why open it again?

What is different about the iPhone 5 charging port?
  • Traveling overseas. Need to charge my e cig which i normally charge thru a usb adapter plugged into an iphone charging block Is it safe to charge it like this when the power is 220? Will my e cog get fried or does the charging block regulate the current output?
