How to completely delete message from iphone?
My boyfriend has found a way to find every text message thats ever been on my iphone.everything has been from the past but i'm tired of hearing about stuff that doesn't even envolve us. I want to know how i can COMPLETELY delete the messages saved on the iphone period! Please help to end these past arguments so we can start new ones.
In case. The only option available here is just restore your phone as a new device, or: Settings>General>Reset>Erase All Content & Settings.
I can even suggest three such apps which claim to do that work for you effectively, but i haven't tried any of them personally so cnt assure anything. The apps are:
- iErase: Zero Free Space - US$2.99
- ProtectStar iShredder Pro - $5.99
- SecureWipe - $3.99
All three of them are available on iTunes.
Hope this helps you.
Well as Sophie says, you can just erase your entire phone and restore it back to factory settings.
However be mindful that this may delete all you other data. I would suggest that you save your contacts, photos or other important data somwhere before taking the step above. You can icloud to synchronise the stuff that you want ( not backup, just synchronise)
- Will upgrading iPhone 4 to iOS 6 completely delete jailbreak? I know it will get rid of jailbreak, which I don't mind at all. However, I have read through different forums that sometimes the jailbreak is never completely deleted because some files still remain in phone. I would not want that to be the case (I might as well not upgrade, I don't want those files possibly causing any performance problems). So, what say you? I want to try iOS 6 on my iPhone 4.
- Why won't my iPhone 4s let me delete the contacts completely? I have deleted the contact but when I go and send a new text their name still pops up, but when you press the name to text them the number comes up. For example if the name comes up "Sally" and you tap it it'll show up as "(123)456-7890." But I want to delete the contact completely! How? I have already deleted their text as well. But there number still pops up.
- My IPhone works completely fine sometimes but a lot of times I can't use it and it's completely unresponsive to my touch? I scheduled an appointment to fix my very cracked screen and I was just wondering if this will fix my problem for sure or is there something else that may be causeing the screen to be unresponsive?
- If I delete a message from my iPhone, does it erased completely? What I mean is, let's say I texted the wrong person and I want to get rid of it, so I delete it. Does this make the sent message delete it on the other persons text history as well? (that the other person won't be able to see it anymore).
