How to connect my iPhone to a new computer?

Ok so I have a new compaq computer and my iPhone if I connect my iPhone to it am I going to loose all my info/data? I've seen people putting copy your old iTunes the only problem is I Carnt get on my old laptop it completely broke that's why I got a new one?

Please can anyone help?

It won't clear it, but you won't be able to put everything on it either. You have to go into iTunes on your computer and you have to find where it says "Authorize This Computer". After that you should be able to plug it in and it should be able to access it.

Download and install iTunes, authorize and log in to your iTunes account, plug in your iPhone. Any songs purchased through iTunes will be transferred to the computer, other songs won't you will need to export these from your iPhone first with a third party program such as this

  • My new iPhone 4S won't connect to the computer? Pk so I just got my new iPhone today, and I was gonna charge it on the laptop, and tether it for Internet, but it won't connect. No error messages no nothing, won't charge, but the computer makes that sound when it reconizes a USB cable being plugged in.   • IPhone won't connect charge or connect to iTunes? Well… I'm no amateur when it comes to iPhones but this problem really has me stumped. I bought this phone and replaced the screen, the person i bought it off of couldnt remember the passcode so its disabled. I've tried putting it in dfu mode, recovery mode, etc. Still nothing. If i turn it off and leave it plugged in itll charge. I also put in a new charging port because i thought that was the problem. So i can't do anything with this phone… Any ideas?
