How to control the settings remotely on my Nikon D3100?

I have a Nikon D3100, and am interested in somehow controlling the various features of the camera remotely - like aperture, shutter speed, ISO, EV, etc. I have done a lot of research, and can't seem to find quite what I need. Ideally, I'd love to control it with my iPhone using bluetooth, but I would settle for my mac over a cable if I have to to get the shots I want. Any help?

You bought an entry level dSLR. It is a fine camera but it does not have a lot of features that at $1, 700 dSLR has. That is why it costs less than $700 when you bought it.

There are some select dSLR cameras that can be tethered to your computer either by using Lightroom 3.6 or higher or using Nikon's Camera Control Pro 2 program

There are even fewer dSLR cameras that can connect via bluetooth. This kind of connection is just now showing up on a few dSLR cameras

So, if you need to tether a camera to your computer (need, not want) then you will have to upgrade your camera system to a camera that will do what you want

That's not just a basic model camera. It's a bottom of the barrel model camera. You can't possibly expect remote features like that to exist in it. At best, you can control focus and shutter release remotely.

Blue slr might help, it has a app for the iPhone but you still need to buy the blue slr device even then I herd it has problems with the d3100 but that could be from not haveing updated firmware on the dslr you might want to keep your receipt just in case.
