How to delete the unknown artist under my songs?
On my iPhone I have songs. Under each song it says "unknown artist". How do i get rid of that? I tried to click on "Get Info" on iTunes but there's nothing there to delete, it's blank already. It says unknown artist under each song on my iPhone.
This is a glitch that has been known to happen. The only solution I know of is to enter the names of the artists on each album manually in iTunes using the "Get Info" method you tried. When you do "Get Info" for entire albums, it will ask you if you want to do this for multiple songs, just click "yes." The "Get Info" layout is slightly different for albums than it is for individual songs, but you'll still be able to change artist names. Hope I helped!
- What are the music apps/sites out there today for all songs by artist? Hi, I'm kind of out of the loop - I just got an iPhone and am familiar with Pandora. Is there anything where I can just play on shuffle all of the songs by Johnny Cash or the Eagles for example? Without "related" songs interspersed. Preferably for free of course without resorting to youtube. If not, what are the closest options available? Like I said, I'm out of the loop and don't really have time to experiment with every google result.
- Unknown iPhone passcode set by unknown person? A passcode has been set on my iPhone without me knowing, now it is locked up. It says here to connect it to my computer and back up then restore my iPhone. Will this clear everything off my phone or will it be the same as it was before it got locked? I have only attempted unlocking it about 5 times in fear of disabling it. I do not want to back up then restore it if it will clear everything off and transfer it to the computer. Are there any alternatives to unlocking my iPhone?
