How to develop an iPhone app? - 1
I have 0 experience but I really want to learn how to develop an app. What program should I use? What are my options?
First, you have to learn to program. This takes quite a while to do- it's not something you can pick up in a weekend.
To make iPhone Apps, you need a Mac, so you'll need to buy one if you don't already have one. You need to sign up for Apple's Developer Program (which costs $99/yr) and install XCode, Apple's development environment, which is available for free on the Mac App Store.
As for writing the apps, you have a few choices depending on what you want to do. For a simple app, you can either directly use Apple's CocoaTouch library and the Objective-C programming language, or you can write what's basically a web application and bundle that into an app- PhoneGap can help you do that. For writing games, you can either use OpenGL with Objective-C, or you can use a game engine such as Unity3D (which uses C#).
Your best option is to learn javascript. Fast, effiecient, easy-to-use and easy-to-learn.
JavaScript is really diving deep when it comes to mobile apps. I have made many JavaScript apps and people love it!
With 0 experience you won't be doing it anytime soon. Learn programming and xcode.

- Is there an inexpensive way to develop an app? I'm a college student with a few ideas for iPhone apps that I would like to release. The only problem is that the cost for developing one seems to be a little on the high side for me and is money I don't really have at the moment (I have less than $500 saved up). Does anyone have any recommendations on what would be the most inexpensive way to develop a quality app for IPhones and Android devices?

- How to get legal permission to develop an app for a site? I have been reading some requests on a site called poptropica, and a lot of people want it on iPhone. I know I have enough coding-digital art skills to make it, but how do I get permission from the developers to do so? Would they likely officially hire me?
