How to download movies from a DVD onto your iphone legally?
Just wondering. For instance, if I have Batman Begins on a DVD, is there any way to download it onto your iphone legally?
If you purchase a copy of the disc that comes with a download of an electronic copy, that's legal. But buying a DVD doesn't give you rights to anything other than that piece of plastic. Legally, you have no right to copy it. Most modern DVDs and all BRs have DRM on them to prevent this. Removing or circumventing that DRM is a federal crime, no matter what your motivations are. So is buying or selling software that facilitates doing so. It's banned in the US. There are spammers who will answer this and try to sell you their Chinese scamware. It doesn't work, and often installs bonus malware. And there's nothing you can do about it, because if you try to press charges you have to confess to committing a crime yourself.
