How to extract Metadata from an iPhone picture on my PC?
I'm not going to install any apps on this old iPhone that I no longer use but I have all my iPhone pics/vids backed up to my computer so I need to know what to install on my PC to extract this data.
My goal is to extract the latitude and longitude from pictures so I can paste those into google maps to see the location of where I took that picture.
Most image editing software will display the exif data.
There's an exif viewer extension for Firefox that reads both basic and advanced exif data.
- Why can't i see gps metadata from someone's else photo? I read about this in Mark Goodman's book:"Future Crimes" and i wanted to try if this actually works. It doesn't for me. I tried my iPhone photos (even turned on location accesses for camera) and i just can't see gps coordinates. Do you maybe know what is the problem?
- Which picture edit app (for the iPhone) do you use to naturally remove any human being? He photobombed himself in my picture? I went to Disneyland yesterday and I can see my friend photobombed himself in my multiple pictures. I still have them on my phone. Does anybody have any recommendations (ideas) for any picture edit app I can use to edit him out? He's standing on the right side of me. (which I can see he ruined the moment for me.) P.S. Yes, I like to take pictures with other cosplayers.
- Where does iTunes extract iPhone update software? I'm desperately trying to locate the folder because its taking up enormous space on my disk drive and the fact that I can't find it is driving me psycho. I desperately need your help! Most people suggested C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Roaming\Appl… Computer\iTunes\iPhone Software Updates but guess what? "iPhone Software Updates" DOESN'T exist in my case!
