- Will my iphone factory unlock or was i ripped off? Okay, i have an iphone 4 for att and i got it off craigslist. I went to this phone dealer because he offered factory unlocks for 100 bucks. I paid and he said give it up to an hour max and he guarentees it would be unlocked.yes i have my receipt.nothing has happened. I did everything he told me to do. Is it because today is sunday and the IMEI is just not being processed today, or was i ripped off.serious opinions please i'm so angry.
