How to fix a stiff iPhone home button?
My iPhone 3G home button is stiff and has to apply pressure for it to work how can I fix this?
Take it to a repair shop, or as a free alternative you can go to settings and turn on assisitive touch, in the accessibility section
Use some rubbing alcohol and rub it on and around the home button.
You can also just go to settings > general > accessibility > and put AssistiveTouch on. It helps if your home button doesn't really work so well like mines kinda sunk in and has other stuff there too for adjesting volume, lock screen, rotate screen, etc
- Will apple replace my iphone 4? Power button is stiff? 3 weeks ago my power button was acting funny, Now it requires a whole lotta pressure to turn it off. I push it down so hard that my fingers turn red. It's covered by apples warranty and they're sending me a box to return the iphone. Will they replace it or repair it?

- My iPhone 5 home button is stiff It feels like there's grit in it, it basically clicks down when I press it and if I press it in succession it will go back to normal. Until obviously I leave it for about 10 seconds and it we go black to clicking. Any help?
