I got a refund for an item on eBay?
And I received the refund on PayPal but I bought it with my debit card and when I checked my chase debit card (on my iPhone app) there's no payment received though it was received back to me according to PayPal. Where was the money refunded to?
It might take a while for the money to show up in your Chase account. The duration of the wait could vary on whether they just did a refund or an ACH transaction (I'm not sure which they use for credits since I've never been in this situation). Do you have an account with PayPal? Maybe they put the money in your account instead of your card.
I'm pretty sure that refunds go directly to your PayPal account and it would be up to you to transfer the money from there. If you use PayPal regularly the next time you buy something you would see that some of the payment would be taken from your PayPal balance.
