How to get ios 7 on iPhone 4S? - 2
Hi I'm trying to update ios 7 on my iPhone 4S
But my iPhone setting general software update only display ios 6.1.3
My current version on my iPhone 4S is ios 5
Should I backup my iPhone before the update?
My younger cousin have ios 7 on his iPhone 4S and he said no issue found everything is working ok

First, make sure you have your 4S backed up! I know people who lost everything when they updated, but luckily, they had backed everything up so could easily restore.y 4S is IOS 7.0.3, with another upgrade to fix some bugs. I haven't done that one because I haven't experienced any bugs, so I figured why mess with it. I'll be getting the 5S soon anyway, which will have the most current updates.
All I can suggest is that you try again. Perhaps the installation wasn't yet completed when you did the update?
Check iTunes or Software Update on the phone. As it is a 4S it would update to 7.0.3.

I didn't really care for the new look of ios 7 and never updated the software on my iPhone 4s, but now that ios 8 is out, I wish I had updated to 7 while I still could.
