How to get messages from iphone ios 6.1.2 if phone accidentally updated to ios6.1.3?

My phone accidentally updated & now it won't let me recover my backup because it is "too old" i tried going thru my files on my computer but its really confusing.

If you have backed up your iPhone with iTunes, you can directly restore with iTunes.
Here is the guide from Apple offical website:
Click the "File" menu and select "Devices" > "Restore from Back up".

Open the iOS device's Summary tab. There are two ways to access this:
Click the device button in the upper right corner. (If viewing the iTunes Store, click the Library button in the upper right corner. The device button will then be visible.)
From any view in iTunes, click the "View" menu and select "Show Sidebar". Select your iOS device in iTunes under "Devices".
Click the "Restore Backup" button.

  • Upgrading from ios6 to ios6.1.3? I got ios 6 on my iphone, but when I try to upgrade to ios 6.1.3 using iTunes I keep getting a error message 3194, I don't want ios 7
  • Updated 4s to iOS6 won't stop restarting So i updated to iOS6 and as soon as it finished updating it did the mandatory restart but once it did this it never stopped doing it. Now i'll reach the lock screen and the background will say iPhone but as soon as i unlock it it freezes and restarts itself. Any help would be appreciated.
  • My itunes says it hasn't updated een though I updated it? I went to update my iphone and it said I had to update my itunes first and restart my computer (i have a macbook.) So I did all that and went to try and update my phone again and it still said I had to update my itunes first so I did it again and it is still not allowing me to update my iphone.
