I just found this:
Take your phone & wrap it about 5 times with plastic wrap. Then, take 2 regular pieces of sandwich bread & place your phone inside the 2 pieces. Wrap the bread, with your phone inside, in tin foil. Put the tin foil wrapped "sandwich"in a brown baggie or a lunch box. Since it won't be going through a metal detector, the tin foil shouldn't be a problem. This strategy might waste bread…

My daughters school allows cell phone as long as they do not use them in school. So many kids either walk or go somewhere after school that they need them. Instead of sneaking, try taking to the Head to see if there are exceptions.
