How to get my photos off a water damaged iPhone 5c?

My iPhone has had water damage before but not in awhile. But yesterday was my homecoming. I had been taking photos all day and they were really good too! And then i went to take another one and the screen was frozen, and it hasn't worked since. I can force restart by holding the power/home buttons, but that it… I brought it to the Apple store and they were the ones that told me it was water damage. I couldn't care less about the phone, but my photos are solo important to me. P.S. They didn't backup to iTunes or iCloud.
P.P.S. When I plug it into my computer with a USB it asks me to press Trust, but I can't do that because the screen doesn't respond!

If it powers on, works but the display is bad, you can remote administrate it bluetooth maybe, wired maybe, if everything fails and its priceless files I would call a repair tech.
