How to get my pictures off of my iPhone 4s?
I connected my phone to my PC and it prompted me to import photos. When I clicked to say import photos, it said no photos could be found on this device (but there are of course photos).
Next, I went into my computer manually and though it recognized the iPhone, when I clicked the folder of its storage, it says it's empty.
Next, I connected my iPhone to my wife's MacBook, but it won't recognize that the iPhone is connected at all.
I'm unable to email the photos, because there are far too many.
Does anyone know how I can get these photos from my iPhone to either of these computers?
It's been a long time since I used a PC so I can't say for certain how to get them to transfer.
However, on the Mac, you can bring up iPhoto and you'll see on the left hand side that the phone should appear (either ___'s iPhone or the mobile icon). Just click that and all the photos should appear - just wait a few minutes so that they all show up. My advice is to do a few at a time. I've had 2, 000 photos on my iPhone at any given time and whenever I tried to import them all, my computer would lag, or an error message would pop up. Do maybe 20-50 at a time.
If you email your photos, don't do more than 5 at a time.It'll take forever if you have a lot of photos, but at least you'll have another backup.
- If I delete my pictures off my iPhone, will it delete my pictures on Dropbox as well? I'm going on a trip overseas and really want to empty out my Camera Roll Pictures off my phone before I leave. I don't own a Macbook so I have to use Dropbox in order to move all my photos to my PC. I really want to empty out my pictures and i'm afraid that I will loose everything on Dropbox if I delete my pictures on my Camera Roll.
