How to get photos from a water damaged iphone?

My iphone took a ***.
Literally.
When I retrieved my phone from the water, which it had been submerged under for about five seconds, it worked just fine, as if nothing had happened. No problems.
When I went to set an alarm later that night, the phones sound was messed up. Still worked, just staticky. Using a blow dryer, the sound returned to normal. Phone was working perfectly fine. So I set my alarm, and I went to bed.
I woke up at about three in the morning, and checked my phone. It was plugged into my wall. It said it was searching for signal. I thought, how weird, I have it in the same spot every night and it always has signal. I unplugged my phone, and it was gone. No power. I put it in rice and left it there for a few days.
My phone works when it's plugged into an outlet just fine. The model is iPhone 4S. When not plugged in, it doesn't even turned on. Plug it in, and you get a few minutes of power (while still plugged into the wall), and the phone will eventually shut itself off. All you have to do is unplug it, replug it, and it repeats the process.
I'm getting a new phone, and I have an iPad. The only thing I'm concerned about is my photos. I don't have access to a computer, and I was wondering if there was any way I could get my photos onto my iPad. I didn't have photo stream turned on on my phone. Using the few minutes I get on my phone, what can I do? Thank you in advance, these memories are very precious to me that I need saved.

1. Dry the outside of your iPhone with a dry cloth or towel.
2. Place the iPhone in a sealable container.
3. Add several silica gel packets to the container. If you do not have silica gel packets, pour the uncooked rice in around the iPhone.
4. Store the container in a dry place for two or three days.
5. Plug your iPhone into your computer. If it restarts, restore it from iTunes. If it does not, you need to send it to Apple for service.

When a phone gets liquid exposure you turn it off immediately. Then you dry it out and wait 3-4 days to make sure what you couldn't get to evaporates. You should of turned it off first thing.

If you can't turn the phone on and you can't get a computer to see it you're out of luck. No, Apple will not be able to help you.

  • Recovering photos from a water damaged iPhone X? I recently got back from a trip and on it my phone accidentally went snorkeling with me in the sea. It's completely dead (doesn't turn on or show any forms of life, iTunes doesn't even recognize it when plugged in to my computer). I was in Cuba with no access to Wi-Fi meaning iCloud couldn t back up my phone on the trip. Because of this, I lost all my photos of the trip. I (clearly) know my chances are basically nell, but does anyone know of any software or store that could help?
  • Photos from a water damaged iPhone 5? I accidentally put my iPhone 5 through the wash and now it doesn't work. Won't even turn on. I know it's a long shot, but does anyone know if there's a way to retrieve my photos from the device at all?
