How to get pics off iPhone when charging port is broken and phone battery is dead?

Have the phone repaired and battery replaced or send it to a professional data retrieval company.

Ask your computer doctor…

If it's a newer model iPhone, you can charge wirelessly. My car even offers wireless charging.

You would have it repaired by a local cell phone repair shop. These shops are all over thee place these days. Frankly it's kind of foolish not to. Your typical iPhone is often worth a few hundred dollars. By not getting it fixed and selling it you are basically throwing out a significant amount of money.

You'd have to get it repaired, for it to gain power in order to transfer anything

Search for a local private iPhone repair company near you and get your iPhone fixed. It will be cheaper than an Apple fix.

I have the new port and tools, but due to the broken charging port, i can't turn the phone off to install the new charging port. Since i can't turn it off, can i just drain the power and let the phone die and then proceed with the replacement?
