How to get viber on my desktop?

Does my iphone have to be connected to my laptop to get Viber on my laptop? I have Viber on my mobile

You just have to enter your mobile's name (which has already installed Viber). After that, you will be able to use Viber from your computer. (no need to connect your mobile to your laptop)

I believe that you can't use it on your laptop but only on a mobile

In order to use Viber for Desktop, you must have Viber installed on your phone. Your phone does not have to be connected or synced to your computer.

  • Why did vodafone charge my iphone viber calls? I'm using my iphone 3 given to me by my sister in HK. I insert a contract vodafone sim card in this phone and everything works ok, except for the viber calls. Vodafone charged me about £50 for a 45-min call recently. They insisted that it was an international call and not a viber call! Now I dare not use the viber apps anymore. I don't know if the phone had been locked in HK but I didn't have to unlock it in order to use my vodafone sim card with it.

Before my viber worked fine but then it stopped working so i reinstalled the app and it tries to sync contacts but it takes ages and eventually fails and says i don't have connection or something when i do. When i turn it on it goes to a bright red screen that says "The hardware on this computer has been deactivated. Warning: Attempting to bypass or reactivate this without the proper password may result in damage to this system and loss of data." I tried all passwords I use, none work. Any help appreciated
