How to get your iPhone 4s to tell you when someone has read your message? - 1
On my ipod it tell me when someone read my messge and the time they read it. Does anyone know how to make it so my iPhone 4s does the same?
It is called "Read Receipt".
The person who you are sending messages to must have an iOS device, and they have to enable Show Read Receipts on their device.
In the Options, there should be an option from iMessage saying whether you want to turn in the read receipts. Do that.
- Wait - on the iPhone, they tell you when a person has read your message? I don't own an iPhone, never had, might get one in a couple of days… But I was on instagram, and this girl posted a convo with her and her boyfriend, and underneath her message it said "Read 10:15 PM" So I was just wondering.
- On the iPhone 4 does it say message read once a person reads your message? You know how it's like "message received at " and then whenever on the iPhone well on the iphone 4 does it say when and if the person read and received the message?
- Is there anyway to tell if someone has read your message or not? I have an IPhone 4S… Sometimes I get "read at 4:30" or something and sometimes it just says delivered… Is there a difference? And can I make so I always know when someone reads it?
- Is there anyway to see when someone has read your text message on an iPhone 5? I have an iPhone 5 and whenever my boyfriend texts me he knows when I've read it or not (that's a whole nother issue… ) and I wanted to know if I could know when someone saw/read a text I sent to them, like he has. How come other phones can do this? Isn't that a privacy issue?
