How to make iphone connect to network after its been forgotten?
I recently "forgot" my home Wi-Fi network on my iphone 5 because I thought if I "forgot" it and then reconnected it would connect better and faster after. Unfortunately, I was wrong. I constantly have to put in my password to connect which bothers me and if its not connected to Wi-Fi (because it frequently disconnects) I receive messages, emails, tweets and it wastes my data usage on Verizon. I reset my network on my settings, turned off and on my router, renewed my "lease" on the network. Nothing seems to work.
Wipe out the network completely and manually enter all the relevant data so that it would remember it.
You should dismiss if first and then input your passport again
- Why did my text messages disappear after I turned my iphone back on after it it had been powered down for the night? Okay, so I'm new to iphone this is my first one and it's the iphone6. Last night I powered it down for the night, and when I woke up a d turned it back on and unlocked the lock screen and went to my home screen it said I had two text messages and before I could click on it they disappeared. So where did they go and is there any way to find them?
- One laptop can connect to our home Wi-Fi network but no other devices can connect? We recently set up a wireless internet connection in our house. One laptop can connect to it (the one I'm currently on) but no other devices can connect to it. It says our "Network Security Key" is mismatched. I have tried typing in all the different codes on both the router and modem on both our second laptop and an iPhone 5. How can I fix this?
- My iphone will not connect to my home Wi-Fi. It can connect to any other network with no problems All my other devices at home connect with no problem, but once i updated my phone it won't connect here. I've reset the router, my network settings, forgot this network, even wiped out my phone and it still won't work. I changed the dns several times. Sometimes that works for a little while, but then eventually stops. What the hell?
